Texture: I mostly used a needle to poke holes in the bowl. I would make shapes with the holes mostle inside the bowl. On the outside I used the holes to create a slight roughness to the bowl. 

Fourm: Well its a bowl, just a normal bowl you would use to eat cereal.

Gesture: I used a small slab to elevate the bowl without the difficulty of making a complex design that may fail, I can sleep at night with the knowledge that my bowl will not fall over thanks to that little slab.

I like how this person didn't just outline the point of emphasis, but they made the lines around the point to put emphasis. When I look at this piece, my eyes immediately jump to the pine cone, the bottom right corner, and the top left.

1 my shading is creative because I use the different shades is many different ways to put emphasis on my shapes.

2 The branch, the screw, and the soldier.

3 The black lines around them and the gradual transformation from black to white as the shading got further away from the point of emphasis.
